Diveheart Scuba Therapy Demonstration captures UW-Madison University student’s imagination

Even as Diveheart teams prepare to embark Monday, June 20th to Key Largo for two weeks of diving with participants from the Oak Lawn Park District Special Olympic swim program & the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education, other team members venture to Madison, Wisconsin June 16th thru 19th to introduce Scuba Therapy to participants with disabilities and UW-Madison University kinesiology students who are working with others in Madison to get a Scuba Therapy Research program going in the area.

Western Illinois University Graduate, Diveheart intern, and Divemaster Ryan Bromberek works with Madison residents with disabilities as they try Diveheart scuba therapy for the first time.    WIU works closely with Diveheart and its growing Scuba Therapy program http://www.wiu.edu/coehs/coehs_stories/diveheart.php
