Soldiers from the Warrior Transition Unit at Fort Knox, Kentucky experienced zero gravity for the first time February 9-10 with a Diveheart Military Wounded team.  Diveheart later presented to the Battalion sharing the benefits of Scuba Therapy for soldiers with disabilities.

SSGT Leon Mangum invited Diveheart president Jim Elliott to Fort Knox to launch an adaptive scuba program for soldiers of all abilities.  SSGT Mangum learned to scuba dive thanks to a grant Diveheart Military Wounded received from the Illinois Department of Veterans affairs when he was stationed at Fort Sheridan Army base in Illinois.
