Tina Haigh, owner of Haigh quarry (www.haighquarry.com) once again shows her kindness and generosity as she presents a $3600 check to Diveheart to support its DMW (Diveheart Military Wounded) program that helps veterans with disabilities build confidence and independence through scuba diving.  Diveheart Military Wounded helps facilitate adaptive scuba programs for disabled veterans all over the country and most recently helped launch programs at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, South Los Angeles and Fort Lewis near Seattle Washington.   Diveheart will train active able bodied military as well as veterans with disabilities in Illinois who want to join the program as buddies with help from a grant from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs.  This year’s Jim Haigh Memorial Dive raised $7200 with the proceeds being given to support DMW and SUDS (Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba).
