Oak Lawn Group Participates in its first Life Changing Scuba Adventure Trip

The Florida Keys Community College Dive Center & the James E Lockwood Jr. School of Diving and Underwater Technology is the backdrop for the Diveheart scuba adventure trip with young people with disabilities from Oak Lawn, Illinois.   The group spent a day of training at the college to prepare for their openwater dives later in the week

Diveheart Trains Veterans in Conjunction with NEDSRA

Diveheart Military Wounded teamed up with the Health Minds Healthy Bodies program through Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association (NEDSRA) to bring Afghan & Iraqi vets with disabilities to the Addison, Illinois Park District pool as part of their scuba certification program.

DMW (Diveheart Military Wounded) brought Rodriguez, who sustained a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) in 2007, to Key Largo as part of an experiment and demonstration of the UPV for the Miami Herald reporter

Marines and Navy Corpsman from Camp Pendleton team up with Diveheart Military Wounded to bring opportunities to Wounded Warriors.

The DMW team takes a break for a photo opportunity during training May 16-23 at Camp Pendleton California.   The Marines and Navy Corpsman from this training will join San Diego instructors and dive buddies trained by Diveheart May 23rd for their combined openwater session.
